I'm 6'2 tall and currently and a little higher weight due to Winter and some business and so I'm weighing around 235 lb right now. I ordered a size medium because I like a tight fit in the groin. Even at my current size and weight the medium that I ordered fits perfectly fine: not to loose and not too tight.
First, the shortcoming for which I deducted one star. 1) The zipper at the bottom of the pants legs are on the front of the leg rather than being on the side of the back. This causes the middle of the zipper to dig into your skin even through socks a little bit. And if you have your socks on the outside of these pants for some reason, the zipper will just be too painful to wear in that setup. 2) the back of these pants could come up a little bit higher, especially since you'll be wearing these when the weather is colder.
Overall, the construction is very good and the seams are flat stitched. The padding seems adequate in my test ride. I'll be doing more rides shortly wearing these and I'll update my results from those additional rides.
The pockets on each one of the thighs for large enough to hold Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra cell phone with an OtterBox Defender case on it. The zippered pocket on the back is not adequate to hold a phone but it will certainly hold a wallet and keys and other small items.
Overall I found these to be very comfortable while wearing them except for the zipper down near the ankle. I'll try to remember and give an update as to the coldest temperatures in which I wore them and found them to be comfortable. However, that's really a subjective thing since different people have different tolerances for cold.
Overall, four stars for me for now with one star deducted for the poor zipper placement on the ankles and for the top of the back being a little bit lower than I would like for winter pants.
These cycling tights are generally pretty nicely made, a fuzzy fleece interior surface and the typical aerodynamic tight knit exterior. They have ankle zips to ease getting in (they say over shoes, but I guess I have really big feet, as I needed the zips just to get my feet in) even with the stretch. These are what I'd call an "aggressively slim fit"; they're stretchy, but squeezy. I'm 5'11" and about 168lb and got a medium based on the sizing wizard; it fits but is definitely tight throughout. I probably would look the same in a large but not feel as squeezed. The padding is nice for longer rides to help reduce the road bike jarring, and the side pockets are generous; I can put my phone in with a hefty case on it, or keys, or more. Warmth is quite nice, the fleece gives a bit extra past the typical basic stretch fabric, these are a bit of both long underwear and tights in one for wind resistance and warmth without being overly bulky. I'm easily bothered by standing seams, and these are flat seamed and smooth on the insides of all their seams. Overall seem to be well made and fairly durable, with several nice features.
