Tri-curious road cyclist

I'm a road cyclist who has had on-and-off triathlon ambitions. I can manage training for two out of the three disciplines, but training all three at once is challenging. Having suitable gear is a big help, as you don't want the gear to get in the way. I've had some other entry-level tri gear, but this is a step up from what I've used before. The fit is good, just a bit smaller than what I typically wear on the bike, but it makes it better for the swimming and running. This is only suitable for warm water. The fabrics aren't quite as good as my higher-end cycling-specific bibs, but it isn't bad. The construction of the seams is good, and overall it moves very well with my body through all of the disciplines. The chamois is more minimal than a cycling-specific bib, but it is a good quality that doesn't compress down to nothing, and it doesn't become a big sponge in the water. Overall, it is a solid suit and good value. I've looked at some other tri suits that cost several hundred dollars, and they have some nice features, but this one is good enough to help me on my triathlon ambitions.

Well made, excellent fit

This is a tri suit, so I expected it to be a snug fit compared to normal cycling shorts and jerseys. What impressed me was the amount of comfort and mobility the suit allows, which is essential for a tri. The construction of the suit is exceptional with covered zippers, extra stitching, etc. love the strategic pockets and thin padding. This is a confirtable and functional performance piece.

Stylish and well made.

This is a comfortable item of clothing that wicks away sweat, looks good, makes and bike riding more comfortable. It does this because it has padding that takes the pressure off of my body. The pockets are deep enough that I don't have to worry about losing my keys, wallet, or cash in a money clip.I like the stylish look, and I'm particularly impressed with the way it makes me feel. When I put this on, I feel like it's time to exercise. I didn't want to dilly-dally and do other things.I rode to a gym and used the suit to play pickleball. It was comfortable while I was playing. I haven't had a chance to use it for swimming yet, but I'm certain that it will dry quickly and reduce water resistance. This style is preferable for rides when it's not super hot out because it has sleeves and provides a little extra warmth going down hills with the wind battering me.It's a high quality item that looks like it will last me for years!

Good for biking but not running

Nice biking suit probably but maybe not suitable for running, swiming or other sports as it has an added cusion part at the pelvic area. I understand this extra cusion layer must for better biking experience, however, It feels awkward when running or swiming. The material is very soft, slim and allows stretching to fit my body, it might be the feature of this kind of sporting suit but probably not suitable for me as it is a little too tight. Especially my butt/leg area feels too tight due to the extra cusion design, it might be good when sitting on a bicycle but I don't really enjoy this feeling when running. Overall, the description might be a bit misleading because I feel this is for sure a good biking suit but probably not suitable for other sporting use.

Comfortable Tri Suit That Performs Well

I picked this up for training and race days, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality. The material is lightweight, breathable, and dries quickly after the swim, making the transitions to biking and running much more comfortable. The fit is snug without feeling restrictive, and the padding provides enough comfort on the bike without getting in the way during the run. The zipper works smoothly, and the flat seams help prevent chafing on longer workouts.Overall, this is a solid triathlon suit that offers excellent value. Whether you’re training for your first sprint triathlon or are a more experienced athlete, this suit is comfortable, functional, and well made.

Perfectly good triathlon suit

Good quality triathlon suit, sturdy construction, well made, run very small, order at least 2 sizes up, or use the sizing guide, lightweight and stretchy material, minimal, but adequate padding in the groin area, color as expected (light green top with somewhat shiny black shorts), easy to get in and out thanks to full-length plastic zipper, so it won't rust, overall good value for a useful product, exactly as described. The only issue is that the silicone anti-slip band in the legs is non-existent, so the shorts will be riding up your legs.

Easier on/off, aerodynamic fit & fabric weave. Ventilates well. V-Thin pad.

I am 5’8.5” tall, 150 lbs with a 37” chest and the medium size is a good fit. I may have been able to squeeze into a small but I suspect comfort would have been sacrificed and perhaps it would have been hard on the stitching when pulling it on and off. This triathlon suit is easier to pull on and off than my others due to how wide it zips open and the stretchiness of the upper fabric.Everything about the panels, construction and the sewing/ tailoring is symmetrical, there are no wonky seams, panel cuts, no stitching errors and no threads/ strings to be trimmed off. The workmanship is very good. This triathlon suit definitely performs and it’s comfortable. I am not in shape at this time but I can believe that I will set a personal record on the bike wearing this. I took it on my speed route on a day with a light headwind on a bike without aero bars and my average speed surprised me. I did notice that the minimal pad in his one was surprisingly comfortable to me on the bike as compared to my three other, one piece triathlon suits. I am looking forward to pushing myself later and I will be wearing this!It has an aerodynamic fit and it is made from aerodynamic fabric / fabric weave. It ventilates for cooling and to wick away and dissipate moisture / dry out quickly. It’s nice to have a bit of chamois pad for riding a bike but the pad is not a big. The chamois pad should not swell up and hold water from swimming and end up rubbing you when running. The pad is well placed and its stitching is well done and smooth. I didn’t experience any irritation. It fits properly in size, doesn’t have any uncomfortable seams, fabric panels or other features such as uncomfortable leg grippers, zipper contact points, tight sleeves, or discomfort from pad placement, pad edges, pad stitching or pad size. The only possible negative thing to me is that the collar is low exposing more skin to sun and possibly water intake during the swim. The weave of the upper fabric should allow water to escape / pass through well though. This is a well made triathlon suit with what you need and it doesn’t really have excess for you to have to carry around unless you are the type to complain about the small amount of fabric required to make the pockets. I think it hits its intent very well and I will most definitely be wearing it.

Thoughtfully designed, high-quality suit that I'd happily race in

I've been competing in triathlons for nearly 35 years, so I've used plenty of triathlon gear over that time. This WIXEN Men's Premium Short Sleeve Triathlon Suit has quickly become one of my favorites for several reasons.I've always preferred one-piece suits over two-piece kits, especially now that I'm 60 and no longer have the lean physique I did years ago. A one-piece simply has a cleaner, more flattering fit. One common drawback with one-piece suits is bathroom breaks, but WIXEN solved that problem with a zipper design that opens enough to make it easy without having to peel half the suit off.The pad is another highlight. It's thin enough that you barely notice it while running, yet provides plenty of comfort on the bike. The materials feel premium, the suit fits comfortably, and it performs exactly as a triathlon suit should. I also have several other pieces from the Wixen brand, and they have all been good. Overall, it's a thoughtfully designed, high-quality suit that I'd happily race in.

I'm a fan

Well this was a nice surprise. I'm 6'1 200lbs, and the XL fit me perfectly. No extra fabric anywhere to get caught in the wind. The fit is conforming without being too tight, which is exactly what you want in a one piece. The lack of normal deep jersey pockets on the back was a concern at first, but the single horizontal pocket held my phone just fine. It has 2 mini pockets on both sides of the bib that can fit some keys or something similarly sized. When I first took it out of the packaging I laughed when checking the chamois. The padding is non-existent. The thinnest I have ever seen. This is very much designed for a short effort on the bike that transitions to a run. Having a thick pad would make running very uncomfortable. I only bike, so I was expecting a rough first ride, but I was pleasantly surprised. On a 1-2 hour ride they held up just fine. No glaring comfort issues. I do have a 3D printed saddle, so I'm sure that provided a lot of the pressure relief, but I would for sure use this one piece for training rides. The fabric texture feels like a soft netting. It has grippers on the thighs and overall felt very comfortable. I'm a heavy sweater and I feel like this isn't the most breathable material ever. If it get's over 90 degrees F, then I would probably reach for another bib.

High-quality triathlon suit for swimming, biking, and running

This is a high-quality triathlon suit. It features an athletic cut with padding for bike rides, stretchy fabric for easy arm movement during swimming, and is lightweight and breathable, making it ideal for running and all sports. The snug, body-hugging fit is both functional and attractive, with a long zipper that makes it easy to get in and out of. Made from durable Polyamide and Elastane material, this short-sleeve triathlon suit can be worn repeatedly for races or training; however, make sure to hand wash it to preserve its longevity. Overall, the suit’s quality is excellent, and its reasonable price makes it a great value for the money.

HIGH QUALITY MENS PERFORMANCE TRIATHLON SUIT

I grabbed this Wixen short sleeve tri suit as a gift for my mom's friend who handles heavy endurance races, and the overall build quality is genuinely impressive. Trying to find decent racing gear that does not chafe badly on long rides or cost a small fortune is always a headache. This padded skinsuit setup handles the issue completely. Handing it over and getting it tested out takes barely any time at all.The quick-dry performance fabric is entirely legit. It breathes perfectly in the heavy summer heat, pulling moisture away from the skin fast so it does not stay completely waterlogged straight out of the swim transition. The aero fit stays tight against the body without being awkwardly restrictive across the chest or shoulders, keeping things completely streamlined on the bike. The internal chamois pad provides plenty of cushion for long hours in the saddle without feeling unnecessarily thick or bulky during the final run.Tossing it in the washing machine takes barely any effort, and the heavy-duty front zipper does not bind up or snag the fabric after a sweaty workout. It holds up flawlessly to constant outdoor training and does exactly what it is supposed to. It is a reliable, straightforward piece of endurance gear that gets the point across and gets the job done right.Pros:Quick-dry fabric breathes perfectly and pulls moisture away fast after a heavy swimInternal chamois pad provides solid comfort on the bike without feeling bulky on the runHeavy-duty zipper operates smoothly without snagging or binding up mid-raceAero fit stays tight without feeling awkwardly restrictive across the shouldersCons:The skinsuit fit is incredibly tight by design, so checking the size chart before ordering is an absolute mustLighter colored areas of the fabric can trap dirt fast during muddy trail runs
